A shifting landscape

Skadar Lake is unique in how drastically its scenery, colors, and even size change with the passing seasons, constantly redefining a new shore.

Its edges also move as the summer lily pads grow, gradually overtaking the lake until the border between water and solid ground begins to blur. The color of the water contributes one of the most beautiful variations to the landscape with its palette of infinite shades from blue to green.
